When I first saw Cyclops in the first X-men movie I was hooked on those pair of glasses. So it became my aim to obtain one of these. The desired effect is shown in these shot compilations:

We can see Cyclops above using the Juliet frame from Oakley but with Ruby Quartz lenses on. These are dyed a deep dark red and gave him headaches. In fact, many have reported that dark red lenses are impossible to wear for more than an hour without suffering. The guy at the bottom is a character from Black Hawk Down. He is sporting Ruby Iridium lenses.

Let's face it, the color of the newer Ruby lenses SUCK! Take a look at the first ones I got and you will wonder why this was called Ruby in the first place.

I had to pay extra to get these replaced with a slightly more purplish pair, these actually were quite nice as shown here:

But as of today, I have managed to obtain a pair of +Red lenses for the Juliet frame to create the closest thing to a pair of Cyclops shades. Check out these shots...

You be the judge and decide which one looks better.

bro honestly sakto lang size sa u ng juliet. but i have to be honest, you're wrong when you say that your cyclops eyewear is complete just because you got the 1st gen ruby lens. you have a huge missing piece. look at the james marsden photo at the upper right corner he has what we oakley addicts call the sideblinders. if you wanna confirm and check it carefully, watch the x-men 1st movie again. you'll see that it covers the sides of the frame until it touches your skin. visit my site at www.oakley4sale.multiply.com and wait for my upcoming sideblinders for sale for juliet and penny. but still, nice shades bro..

Positive Red (+RED) lenses ARE NOT rubys and also not the same cyclops used. By the way I bet you had those custom cut right?? Not original oakley bro... If you want to get the REAL cyclops lenses you have to find 1st Generation Ruby Lenses, wich are REALLY RARE! I believe they were sold at the x-metal frame... and also, as the other guy said, you should look for the side things... nice glasses, but I prefer the 3rd and 2nd generation rubys you got rather then this custom cut +Red ones... Gotta stay original. Customizing is cool when you are not modifyng the original pieces, just mixing them! ;)
