1. MASS EFFECT (XBOX 360)

Mass Effect is an RPG created by the company who brought us game of the year (2003) Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, which won more than 40 awards!

It's easily expected Mass Effect will be even better than KotOR and judging from trailers and gameplay footage, everything is shaping up very well. The dialogue system is more dynamic and there are strategy and tactic elements during combat.

2. ASSASSIN'S CREED (PS3 and XBOX 360)

From the creators of the Prince of Persia series, Assassin's Creed pushes the limit of acrobatics and swordfights. You are an assassin (obviously) and the Third Crusade is the setting of the game.

Scanning for your target on the rooftops

There are numerous ways to get to your target- walk around on the streets or climb up to the buildings, it is entirely up to you. Getting close to your target is tricky and you are able to get help from the public, provided that you have helped them out before. This system is called social stealth.

3. Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)

Square Enix has proven itself time and time again with each release of Final Fantasy. I've played VIII, X and X-2 and all were pretty good. FFXIII is no exception with beautiful graphics and the all new active battle system.

I don't really know much about the game, but I definitely would want to see it in action after it is released. Check out the awesome trailer:




4. Heavenly Sword (PS3)

It's time to kick some ASS! I'll describe the heroin of the game as a female version of Kratos (God of War). She takes the Heavenly Sword in order to use it to fight evil; however, the Heavenly Sword is not meant for mere mortals to wield, and the weapon slowly drains her life force away

It's a race against time as the heroin battles through hordes of baddies. Will she make it in time or will she die trying?
